Finally!

Thanks to help from my bff-waifu Kimm, I managed to understand and edit the HTML for this blog, and now I've given it an overhaul!

What do you guys think? (笑)

I'll probably add more things to the site as time goes by. (^^) It was difficult, staring at the HTML and cleaning up some of it, searching for other templates and doing research, just to get this result. Thankfully, in the end, it was actually a simple enough process. (笑) I'll be able to handle it better next time~

I know that it's been a very long time since I made a proper blog post, and I owe everyone some photos. (笑) Not to worry! I'll make sure to write more!(I hope.)

So far I think I'm surviving, and I'm also a little pleased that my deviantART account is starting to live again. I've been working on my drawing and coloring lately, and I hope to get better.

I feel like I always say that, but never really finish?

Easier said than done, I guess. (笑)

I might be spreading myself a little too thin over the things I want to do, but I think eventually things will even out, and I'll know what I can accomplish.

I'll do what I can!

Oh, and, I made a very emotional post on Tumblr yesterday, regarding the Harry Potter series.

I don't think I want to post it here again. (笑) I don't want to cry!

But yes, Harry Potter has been my childhood...I learned a lot from it, and it has made an impact on my speech and writing...it encouraged me to read...I feel very sad that we've come to the end of an era.

I'll be watching the final movie, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2, tomorrow in New York.

I think I should bring either a handkerchief, or a box of tissues. (笑)

Blog overhaul within the next few days!

As you can see, I finally managed to put the navigation links for previous and next posts (^^)

I'm still figuring out how to add another sidebar (^^;) and I'm thinking of making a new header...But yeah. Hopefully by the end of this week it'll be all finished, depending how long I have to stare at Blogspot HTML to fix this. (笑)

I'm back!

Haha, I'm back to plain old English for a while. Blogging in Japanese is tiring!

Work has been fun so far, and Japanese is starting to make a little more sense for me. It's been the same routine, going to work, commuting back to school, and then going home and studying. (Okay, so I'm still working on that last bit.)

I hung out at the Japanese Studies Department after class today. They've got this BIG shipment of manga (in original Japanese, duh), and they're all food manga!!

It's enough to make you hungry just by looking at them. (笑) I've been trying my best to read some of them, and so far it's been good, though my head tends to hurt afterward.(笑)

In other news, I've written something in my other blog, Zero-to-One. The URL is going to be difficult to advertise--it's going to sound like numbers. (笑) To think that it's going to be filled with lines upon lines of whatever my mind comes up with!

If you like, while I have only one entry up on it, I can still make a different blog URL that's easier to remember and say. (笑) Tell me in a comment! Any suggestions (provided that they are free of ridicule and are creative) will be considered. (笑)

Oh, and do tell me what you think there too. I've never really shown anyone what I've written in this kind of style (songs/poems/whatnot) so honestly, I'm very nervous. (笑)

Epic day. (^o^)

So much randomness today. XD

First off, there was a Smart promo at ADMU wherein if you were one of the first 200 to fall in line with a photocopy of your ID and a subscription confirmation text from the school regarding its new system of text messaging announcements through the Smart network, you'd be able to claim a FREE Smartbro kit, which is a plug-in USB that acts as a portable wi-fi router. Basically, internet anytime, anywhere. Of course I woke early to claim it, i wouldn't miss such an opportunity. So ta-da, free wireless prepaid internet. \(^o^)/

In addition, the kit was "limited edition"--the USB had been covered with a design of our university team, the Ateneo Blue Eagles. It looks quite cool, actually.

Afterwards though, since we'd made plans, some friends and i trooped off to Greenhills. Marts needed to have his PSP's firmware updated, so that was his basic errand, while we tagged along to bug him, of course. There was much chaos in Data Blitz while we looked for interesting games.

There were repeated zombielike squeaks of "brains~", "cheese", and (for some odd reason) "sisig".

We had lunch, of course. a trip to Sizzling Seafoods provided us with delicious servings of grilled squid and rice.

Yum. It cost more than 100 pesos, but really, BIG servings plus a small bowl of soup and drinks--definitely a good deal. I always go back to that place, i swear. Seafood FTW! 8D

I don't know HOW we never noticed this recently, but..

THIS DOES NOT MAKE SENSE. One side has an escalator while the other one is just plain stairs. (O.o) And the banister for the stairs is still the kind used with escalators. Its no wonder some people stop at the top of the steps and expect it to move under their feet.

All this we noticed while buying takoyaki. XD

I know it's probably not genuine or the real absolute deal, but it is still satisfying to eat. (^^;)

Gotta work with what you can get.

to top it all off, Kae and I played some arcade games at Timezone. I'd like to think that i'm getting better at Dancemaniax/DanceFreaks whatever it's called--but yes, more practice is definitely needed. Dance Dance Revolution however, needs a LOT of work for me. I still have two messed up feet. o(>o<)o

And just to finish the day, i attacked Marts' coffee bun, since he was being too lazy to touch it.
