Thankfully, Kae came around at 5pm to help out, too. My mom and aunt really helped out, they're pretty much craft artisans and I am a mere disciple.(笑)

Felt rather sick towards the end of the evening though. (>_<) I guess it's because I'm really tired? I haven't gotten enough sleep the past two, three nights.

I'm worried about this week too! So many last minute changes are going on and I'm overwhelmed by it all.(^^;)

Shrine Madness!

Today, we managed to make a shrine for the KiraKira☆Matsuri! (笑)

It was really challenging! I sent a text message to various volunteers early that morning, only Jem and Kae were available to help. Others had prior commitments, others just didn't respond. (T_T)

Ochibi came over for our usual Saturday afternoon hangout, but I pretty much shanghaied her into working with us. It was still a pretty crazy time.

We had fun though, even though it was hard work on all of us to make the shrine. We had to constantly consult a small drawing and figure out just how the architecture came together.
While working, we listened to Tenimyu and other various songs. It did keep our spirits up for most of the work. (笑) We also watched The Princess Bride, for randomness.

We really did have a good time. It was just quite tiring though! The people who couldn't make it missed a lot of laughs. (笑)

It's late and I'm tired...

With regards to the Pokemon tournament...

...I lost in the first round. (笑)

It's okay though--I admit that I wasn't well-prepared, but it was really fun watching everyone else compete!

I came home at 12 midnight, and I am feeling seriously very tired. (>_<)

Not only that, tired and extremely unhappy, even pissed off.

KiraKira☆Matsuri is starting to get on my nerves...

I'm having trouble with lack of people and the event is this coming week...

In addition, if the venues aren't secured for this coming week, then the event will not push through at all. (T_T)

Props also need to be made this weekend and I have been unable to find enough people to help me. (+.+)

I have to confess that even though I am running around left and right trying to fix things, I feel that I haven't done enough, though I'm tired, and honestly, that terrifies me. (>_<)

I feel inadequate; accomplishing these kinds of tasks and fulfilling dreams... the things I desire most and yet...why is it that working hard is one of the most difficult things for me?

It sounds strange, doesn't it. (笑)

I honestly question my drive and my focus.

Hazelnut spread! ♪

400 grams of sweet hazelnut and chocolaty goodness~ ♪
I've never been able to buy the big container before! (笑) I normally get the smaller ones, but none were available at the grocery today. (笑)

Looking back, today was rather interesting. Waking up to a clear blue sky outside your window normally makes me feel slightly lighter about the day. Actually, seeing the sky outside my window in just one solid color, whether white or blue, feels like a good omen. (笑)

On an amusing note, I ran into Fr. Dacanay outside our classroom before he entered--and he was wearing shades! It was a nice start to the day, haha. (笑)

We had to rush quite an amount of work for our research paper outline though, and that kind of stressed me out. In addition, preparations for our KiraKira☆Matsuri are still ongoing, and we are still unprepared!!

Aaaaaaa~ This is such a rush!

I hope we can accomplish this! I would hate to move the Matsuri again, even if it DOES give us more preparation time! I feel like I didn't fulfill a promise I made to the members. (>_<) It's a very unsettling feeling, to promise something and not be able to accomplish it. But I need help, too! (>o<)

Dancing, Driving, and...Kimono tops

I finally got the kimono tops done!(^o^)I had a white one made, and a pink one too! The white one serves as an undergarment.(笑)

Today, I was invited by June (aka Buchou) to Ochibi's house! Haha, sounds quite odd, considering it's Ochibi's house and not hers. (笑)

Thera, Diane, and Amantha were there too. They were all working on their project and I tagged along. They were supposed to go to Saizen afterwards, but I wasn't able to go since I had a dentist appointment. (>_<)

After a while, I realized why I actually agreed to go: To keep Kin-chan distracted while the rest of Seigaku worked on the project. (笑) Just kidding, Kin-chan!

Well, of course, with Kin-chan involved, there was much dancing and flailing around; She was dancing, I was flailing. (笑)

I am still slowly learning Tenimyu steps! (笑)

The problem with Kin-chan--she will annoy you first before letting you learn. (笑)

I left Ochibi's house for my dentist appointment, and I discovered there that I had a pretty deep cavity. (>_<)
I had a little work done on it, and it kind of stung. (>_<)having a cavity filled is mildly painful (>o<)

Regarding driving...The car just got a tune-up today, which is normally good news...
However, I've only been driving for a few weeks and I was not used to the "new settings" for the car. On my first turn I nearly hit the sidewalk.

Which set my mom's horrible mood off, and for nearly thirty minutes she would not let up on me, she kept barking orders at me even when I was just telling her to chill..
and finally she freaking PUNCHED my arm.

WHILE I WAS DRIVING.

It was not nice. (>_<)

And it hurt.

I rarely complain about such things, but this was a real blow to me and I don't appreciate violent moves anymore, not after certain incidents. And what if she had punched me and I had accidentally swerved? We could have gotten into even bigger accidents. I was not happy about this. She's in a better mood now, but she hasn't apologized for punching me, which i don't like either.

This is the only thing I don't like about driving, how agitated my mom gets when she is in the passenger seat.

/sigh.

I hope this doesn't happen again.

Another Saturday with Ochibi

It really is starting to become tradition..(笑)
As usual, Ochibi came over to my house for another afternoon of catching up, as well as fangirling. (>_<)

We went through several backstage videos and laughed at certain parts of Tenimyu. We also had a bit of a heart-to-heart. It was a really nice afternoon ~ ♪

We were also able to watch Masa's "PATI NIGHT" episode in full! It really was cool, though again, I was freaking out at the song translations and how it just seemed to speak to me. (笑)

Oh, and when we took her home earlier, I waited until someone opened the door for her at her house before leaving. Who else should open the door but Kin-chan? She immediately started squealing and waving her arms frantically at me (^_^;)

You have to admit she was acting kind of like one. (笑)

Things just happen...

Last night, we held BREAK, a hiphop dance party that my events management group organized. This is me in the car, on the way to the venue earlier that afternoon. (>_<)
Sorry, I don't have photos of the event itself. (笑) Let's wait for photos from our event photographers, yes? (笑)

The event in itself was a success~ The dancers were amazing, really! I wish I could dance like them... (笑)
I never thought I would actually get out on the dance floor though~ (笑) I enjoyed it a lot, even though I'm not that good.
I didn't intend to drink, but was kind of pressured to down a shot of vodka anyway. Thankfully, I'm not the type to get drunk easily~ ♪

Things truly went downhill at the very end, though it didn't affect the main event. Someone almost got drunk, and another really did, quite badly, if I may add.
I bruised my knee in the process of running around trying to help. (>_<) My knee will turn purple in a few days...

Time to take a hot shower before bed. I'm thankful it's the weekend~ ♪

Parking: SUCCESS ~ ♪

I finally got the car into the garage today~ ♪ Success!

And I'm on painkillers~ ♪ (笑)

My arms still ache from yesterday's climb, so I had to take painkillers today. (笑)

Plus that certain time of month has arrived (^_^;)

So far, I haven't gotten into any serious accidents while driving. (笑) But it's still difficult to not step hard on the accelerator! (^_^;) I need to learn to control the car better, I keep making some very sharp turns to avoid things! (笑)

So! Today was rather nice. I finished a final exam in 26 minutes! I was able to leave class early.

Also! It was my groupmate Raizza's birthday!!

Wall Climbing~!

Today, I went wall-climbing~ ♪
I haven't done this since my first time two years ago, and back then, I was in a suit and wearing really thick-soled boots. (笑)

This time, I went barefoot. (笑)

It was really fun! Although I forgot that it was very strenuous~ My arms were aching after two climbs...(^^;)

I was able to climb four times. The people there told me that I could climb as many times as I wanted, since not many people were coming around to climb, and I was having fun. I got very tired after my fourth climb though, and my forearms still ache until now.

But it was fun~! (^^) I was able to reach the top in 25 seconds! (^o^)/

The only problem with wall climbing? (>_<)

But!!

Today was a good day~ ♪ (笑)

I went to the Japanese Department early this morning to take an exam. The department was dark and seemed closed, but Nagai-sensei let me in. She was playing the koto in the department.

It was very soothing~♪

I took my exam with koto music playing in the background. (^o^)

I felt like royalty. (笑)

Also, I'm proud to say that I finished my exam in record time--all that cramming really made an impact, I remembered a lot of details~ ♪

We worked in the garden today at my volunteer area. I got to water the plants~ (笑)

I got wet though. (^^;)But I had fun using the hose, and even sang and semi-danced around with it. (笑)

It was really fun...

Cramming~

So, I've been cramming for an exam since 11:30 yesterday, taking note that it's past midnight now, LOL. (^^;)

...and I just sneezed.

I'm taking the exam earlier than the others because I have important volunteer work to do during the exam time. Not only that, our final examinations take place on Thursday! (>o<)

I hope I do well.

In any case, it's too bad that I can't take photos while I'm at my area for the volunteer work, cell phones are not allowed during work hours, plus they *are* a distraction. Hahaha...

I actually don't mind working like this, if anything, I really would like to look for a part-time job. Still, though, it's difficult to find and maintain one, and on top of that, I am quite preoccupied with my own personal goals.

Now see, if Ochibi and Kin-chan (no wait, actually. Kin-chan. Just Kin-chan) didn't tease me so often, I would actually beg them to teach me to dance.

Finally, a post!

Today I bumped into my friend Tiffany, who came back from her Junior Term Abroad (JTA) last Feb 1. I was so glad to see her! I wasn't able to give her my combination birthday/ Christmas/ WelcomeHome gift, but she was carrying around the souvenirs she'd bought for me back in Japan! (^o^)/

She got me an omamori (you can call it a good luck charm) from one of the shrines she'd been to, and a Prince of Tennis "Fortune" figurine(?). They call it like a fortune because it's like a fortune cookie, you don't know what you're going to get.

Ahaha! I got Saeki! So cute, Sae-chan~ ♪ (^o^)/

Right now, I'm in the middle of downloading "THIS IS IT"!! (^o^)/

I know the DVD came out recently, and if I really can't afford it, it looks like I'll have to resort to a downloaded copy. Still though! I saw the promotional videos for the DVD while going around the mall, and I couldn't tear my eyes away from the screen~

It looked like a really great movie, I feel bad for not watching it on the big screen when it first came out. Maaah ~ (^^;)

I know I owe Ochibi some photos, so I'll be sure to post them soon!
