WakuWaku's First Anniversary!

A big thank you to Kuya Joma for inviting us :D
We really enjoyed their tea time, snacks, and fun games.

It was really cool, despite the major pressure put on me (and pressure I put on Kae) to sing at the event. (笑) ごめん、けいーちゃん~
There were major moments of hilarity, like when Kae was thrust into a game of Pinoy Henyo with Miguel Mercado, a very popular cosplayer who had been invited to the event, along with Jin Joson. Our friend Leslie was incredibly starstruck. (笑) She's been a big fan of Jin since forever. She looked ready to pass out. :))
Some priceless moments of lulz during Kae's game of Pinoy Henyo with Miguel:
Miguel: "Does it have to do with Japanese culture?"
Kae: "Yes."
Miguel: "....porn?"
Everyone else: *bursts out laughing*
Miguel: "Does it have anything to do with food?"
Kae: Uhhhm. Pwede. Yes?
Miguel: "....Malaki? Masakit?" (...Big? Painful?)
Everyone else: *starts laughing again*
Kae: *while laughing* No!
When it was all over, we got to keep our teacups from the event. I had made a poster for Kuya Joma, and he asked everyone to sign it before they left. I'm pretty much proud of my handiwork.(笑)
Until the next event, Kuya Joma! Wakuwaku!

My bags are almost packed...
As most of you probably already know, my flight to the US is today, Oct. 17. I haven't been blogging lately due to all the preparations for finals and other problems! Labels: family, holiday, interesting, madness, ochibi gets her own tag, party, tired, toujin, troubling thoughts, worries
So tiring~ I just came from a Toujin party, and I swam probably for about 5 hours. (^_^;)
It was a day filled with madness. This kind of madness, love and insanity, I would never exchange for anything. 東人! 大好き!本当にありがとう!
In addition, Ochibi came to visit, and we had our last moments of fangirling, and she gave me a gift for me to remember her and Kin-chan by.
There is only one thing I can say--THEY ARE INSANE. And I love them.
No rest for me tonight though. I have to finish packing the things most important to me, and finish certain forms.
To all my loves in the Philippines, I WILL MISS YOU ALL.
Please support me till the very end~
My next post will be made from NEW JERSEY!!! I will make sure to document my stay.

EPIC WAGYUU BEEF ♪
Labels: accomplished, food, japanese, madness, outing, party, tired, work, yayz

It was our classmate Kay's birthday today, so she took the entire class, including sensei, out for dinner and to do random things! (笑)
We ended up driving all over Makati in order to look for a decent Japanese restaurant, and then ended up eating in "KAI", a rather swanky Japanese restaurant, more fine dining than what we ever expected. AND WE WERE ABLE TO GET A TASTE OF WAGYUU BEEF.
Which is probably, like, 87532721 times more expensive (probably) than any yakiniku plate ever? But so good. And you cook it yourself on a hot plate.
Poor sensei though. Both hot plates were on either side of her and on one side, we were skilled at using the hot plate, while the other side was not. The fat from the beef either kept spitting at her, or the fat would drip into the flames causing the fire to suddenly go up in a whoosh. She was started to get too scared to use the hot plate. (笑)
Afterwards though, we walked around and eventually found a Timezone arcade, where I danced several rounds of DDR and Dancefreaks, then tried my hand at Drumania (7th mix). I think I may get the hang of drums eventually, but it will take time. At least I'm getting better at DDR.
It was a very fun evening. FEAST YOUR EYES ON THE WAGYUU BEEF AND BURN WITH ENVY MUAHAHA.
/kidding. XD
I might be quite busy at work tomorrow. Maah!

Last night, my family and I went to Ochibi and Kin-chan's graduation dinner. Kin-chan just graduated from High School, and Ochibi from Miriam College, Bachelor of Science in Psychology.
I'm so proud of both of them. (>_<) That night we fangirled as usual about Tenimyu and its boys. (笑) They had to re-enact several scenes from movies and shows I hadn't seen yet, and it was hilarious. (笑)
I actually scrambled around for gifts for them. (笑) and like the sap that I am, gave them both little speeches before giving it to them. It's a special day for both of them, and both deserve special gifts.
I'm very sure I will still be seeing a lot of Kin-chan, since she will still be studying near me, and I will be sure to help her. I honestly want to watch and help her grow. (>_<)
Ochibi, I'm afraid, I may see less often of. But as long as one of them is there, the other will follow. So, I hope to stay in connection!!
CONGRATULATIONS, OCHIBI AND KIN-CHAN!!!
The both of you will always be my chibis. (^o^)/

Blue Roast!

Finally, a photo!
Well, Blue Roast (Which actually happened last night, March 24th, after my oral exams, actually)is the Seniors' send-off party, kind of like a last hurrah before they graduate. I got invited by some of my friends to bask in the craziness.
Well, the music was okay, and the performance by CADS (Company of Ateneo Dancers) was excellent--even if I didn't approve of the stripping. (笑)
I think, more than ever, I really feel for dance. I don't know how exactly this came about (maybe because of Masa, fine) but I've always loved watching performances, even ballet. I guess you never really appreciate opportunities except when they're gone. (>_<)
I had a great time with the Seniors, and I really will miss them when they graduate. I hope to still see them though!!
CONGRATULATIONS, BATCH 2010 (^o^)/

RECESS!!
Labels: accomplished, fangirling, group things, madness, ochibi gets her own tag, party, yayz

Last night was our last event for our Events Management class. "RECESS!!" was supposed to be a party themed around "reliving the best of high school". Not that I personally wanted to...my high school had a lot of drama.(笑) And Ochibi came to the event! She really helped out. (^o^)/ and she was going to sleep over at my house later that evening.
Erm...this is just me being brutally, painfully honest...but I *did* expect the bands to play songs that were popular in our high school days. I didn't hear any, except for the acoustic performances where Raizza and Nika sang, and Didi too...(>_<)
Although I admit the bands were quite talented (props to Skinny Jeans Kaboom and Death&Strawberry), I wish they had kept the self-promotion of their original songs to a minimum...though I suppose it's only fair. Still, I wanted to hear old high school hits.
In any case, after the bands had finished performing, the floor was open for dancing~
Not that many people danced. (>_<) But Sir Sev danced around with us! Ochibi was the source of our energy, really.(笑)We need to dance more often!
On a random note, it took a while before the name Death&Strawberry clicked in my head. It turns out that several of the band members were into BLEACH! Their band's name was actually taken from the first chapter of the manga.(笑) I was like, "It all makes sense now!!"
In any case, it was still a fun night. I never thought that dancing around like that (even if i wasn't that good) could be so much fun.
Ochibi and I came home and freshened up, brushing our teeth before going to bed. We felt like Aiba.(笑)
It really was very tiring! I'm not particularly sure what happened between the end of the party and us going to sleep at 4am. I remember nearly falling asleep with my glasses on, and Ochibi's cellphone alarm going off at around 5am.
We fangirled for a while earlier this afternoon. It really was a weekend well-spent. Till next time, Ochibi!!

As promised, here are a few photos from our event, BREAK~ ♪
Some are kinda blurred, and as the venue was so dark, it was difficult to take proper photos. I will try to share some of my favorite ones though.(笑)

Me and Dessa towards the end of the night. It was kind of tiring, once the floor was open to everyone who wanted to dance.
An amazing handstand! This guy is acrobatic!
Some of the photos were blurred and dark. (^^;) But you get the idea, at least. The hiphop dance party was actually quite a good idea~ I really wish I had danced more though. (笑)

Last night, we held BREAK, a hiphop dance party that my events management group organized. This is me in the car, on the way to the venue earlier that afternoon. (>_<)
Sorry, I don't have photos of the event itself. (笑) Let's wait for photos from our event photographers, yes? (笑)
The event in itself was a success~ The dancers were amazing, really! I wish I could dance like them... (笑)
I never thought I would actually get out on the dance floor though~ (笑) I enjoyed it a lot, even though I'm not that good.
I didn't intend to drink, but was kind of pressured to down a shot of vodka anyway. Thankfully, I'm not the type to get drunk easily~ ♪
Things truly went downhill at the very end, though it didn't affect the main event. Someone almost got drunk, and another really did, quite badly, if I may add.
I bruised my knee in the process of running around trying to help. (>_<) My knee will turn purple in a few days...
Time to take a hot shower before bed. I'm thankful it's the weekend~ ♪
