Happy New Year!

明けましておめでとうございます、みなさん!

I spent January 1st at Ochibi and Kin-chan's house. (笑) We wore our yukatas and watched Dream Live 7th, fangirled, and basically had fun. All things considered, it was a wonderful day.

Thank you, Ochibi, Kin-chan. I hope this year started off well for you both, too.

おはようございます!(笑)
A little Ouji moment up there for me.(笑)

We went out a couple of days ago and I saw this:

Ochibi and Kin-chan would have gone crazy if they saw this.(笑)Fanta!

The sunset for the day. I'm surprised to see the colors so clearly. Will try to take another photo when I have the chance!

I'll go and sleep now. Haha!

My bags are almost packed...

As most of you probably already know, my flight to the US is today, Oct. 17. I haven't been blogging lately due to all the preparations for finals and other problems!

So tiring~ I just came from a Toujin party, and I swam probably for about 5 hours. (^_^;)

It was a day filled with madness. This kind of madness, love and insanity, I would never exchange for anything. 東人! 大好き!本当にありがとう!

In addition, Ochibi came to visit, and we had our last moments of fangirling, and she gave me a gift for me to remember her and Kin-chan by.

There is only one thing I can say--THEY ARE INSANE. And I love them.

No rest for me tonight though. I have to finish packing the things most important to me, and finish certain forms.

To all my loves in the Philippines, I WILL MISS YOU ALL.

Please support me till the very end~

My next post will be made from NEW JERSEY!!! I will make sure to document my stay.

2nd Live (笑)

Had our second performance at The Aerie in Cervini Caf near Ateneo's new University Dorm. I have to say, We were quite successful in a sense. Ochibi and Kin-chan came to watch us. (笑)

Kae and I made a mistake in singing 1/3 no Junjou na Kanjou, since it was a last minute change to our play list. None of us had mastered "You"/"Dear You" just yet. In addition, Sarah couldn't sing with us as her throat started to hurt something fierce.

Not that Kae and I were any exception--we were also suffering from colds and cough, but we were a little less strained than Sarah--she'd already performed earlier. Mou~

At least we got a good response from the audience, and a lot of ideas. Yaaaaay~ (笑)

I was subjected to a lot of madness from the Toujin Boys though. I swear, those guys are insane.

TILL THE NEXT PERFORMANCE!! Please continue to support us till the very end~

We need dance nights.

We meant to have a dance-a-thon. Really.

But we went everywhere instead. (笑)

Went to Momo's house along with Eiji and Tezuka-buchou, Ochibi and Kin-chan. Things were kind of awkward for some of us, but we tried our best to have fun anyway. And even though it was late, Eiji and I went back to Ochibi and Kin-chan's house for dinner and Tenimyu randomness. (^o^)/

Until now, I am ashamed of my lackluster dance skills. (笑)

I ended up staying over at the house because I could no longer commute home--it was very late. (^^;) Carelessness on my part...

In any case, I cannot wait to see them again, and maybe next time, we can have a more serious dance session...?

Ahahaha~

YAMATO!!!

All I can say is: EPIC.(笑)

It was the last night of Yamato in Manila and their performance was AMAZING. (^o^)

It was a performance I won't soon forget. They're more than just talented and hardworking musicians, they're skilled entertainers who really know how to get an audience up and excited and cheering. They were very funny, very focused, and very free-spirited--the best thing about their performance was the fact that they performed with sincere, heartfelt smiles. They really enjoyed what they were doing, and I loved that. What I love in performers is the amount of heart they put into their act, and they truly showed a spirit behind Taiko that I had never seen before.

This was a chance of a lifetime, and I am so glad I took it. I wasn't as lucky as some of the people near the stage though--they got to take photos with the performers themselves. They were kinda pushy though (^^;) Ahahaa. Nonetheless!!! It was fun, and it was all definitely worth the trip.(笑)

Ochibi was able to make it, and I yoinked my friend Yanna to watch it too. (^^)
But I owe a big, big thank you to Yanagi-senpai (Celiiiine!!!) and her uncle. It was because I ran into them at the line for the performance that she pulled us into their line and gave us their extra tickets. It was also the reason why we got such good seats, instead of being so far out into the audience. I am eternally grateful.

On a side note though, after it was all over, the sole of my foot was in absolute pain. I wonder why? I didn't strain it or anything. (><)

I will have to limp until it feels better. (笑)

I shall sleep now. おやすみ!

FLASHBACK, kimi wa CLEVER~ (笑)

As it is, I haven't been blogging lately. (笑)

Life has been crazy the past couple of days, honestly. its been a while since I've found time to sit down, eat some cookies, post photos and blog.
So, first things first! Last June 29th, the band got together again for some random jamming. I came along as a vocalist (though I'm still not quite confident about my voice ^^;)
The band!

EA, the guitarist; Mujib, the bassist; and MJ, the drummer.
Our main vocalist, Sarah, and our keyboardist, Patrick, weren't around.
Therefore, Kae and I stood in for vocalists. And failed quite epically. (>o<)/

We had fun though, even if we messed up on quite a number of songs. I am seriously beginning to wonder if I can even aspire to be a vocalist, really. I know I go off-key majority of the time. (T_T)

Following that, the week after, the recruitment week for school orgs started. Naturally, Toujin, our Japanese Culture org, was part of it and basically made a killing, so to speak. (笑) We got so many members!! Over 200! (^o^)/

Hung out at McDonald's for a while on one of those days, got teased by Ochibi for this picture. Do I really look like a Rikkai student with that scarf on? (笑)

Fun times, good times, sundae times. Kin-chan failed at many things that day.(笑)

Then finally, last Saturday (July 3rd), Ochibi, Kin-chan and I went to Saizen (known in Japan as Daiso). We saw a lot of things we wanted to buy, but as it is, we had to wait till the next time we could get together. I saw a great pass case that I wanted, but then again, I could probably wait until next time.

We ended our trip with a hearty dinner from Silver Lake, one of our main choices in Ali Mall's food court. Imagine getting two viands, rice, soup, a fried vegetable roll, and free iced tea, only for 85 pesos? And depending on your food, you can have it on one of those sizzling hot plates. It was really a very nice dinner, once again with us poking fun at Kin-chan and her fail. (^^)

It was one of the nicest weekends I'd spent in a long time. I hope to have another great weekend soon enough.

On a side note, I joined Blue Symphony this year! I'll be auditioning with my violin this Friday (July 9). I'm so nervous!!! I'm really not that good at playing yet, I hope they're willing to teach me more even if I suck (T.T)/

Today was a horribly rainy day. I'm glad I brought a cardigan along, I don't think I would have survived the day, considering I have my thesis class in an air-conditioned classroom.
And I'm starting to get a clearer picture of what I want my thesis to be...I know I definitely want to make a thesis on otaku culture...I just need an angle...

頑張ります!!

[EDIT] I FORGOT THAT IT WAS TANABATA TODAY. IT IS PAST MIDNIGHT, CAN I STILL WRITE MY WISH OR SOMETHING? D:

[EDIT 2] OKAY SO YOU BURN WISHES THE NEXT DAY BUT DO THEY HAVE TO BE WRITTEN ON TANABATA DAY?

[EDIT 3] Okay...So the actual 7th day of the 7th month isn't necessarily July 7th...It's actually on August 16th this year.

[EDIT 4] EVEN SO!!! I was too late!! Ah well. I will burn one of my wishes tomorrow I guess? Or set it afloat in the rain if it rains tomorrow/later.

FINALS?!

Today is our exam in Japanese! Aaaaagh. I haven't finished my market research, so I might have to resort to asking for my mother's help again...(;_;)
It's really in the last couple of days that work is finally starting to take its toll on me. (>o<)/

Yesterday was fun though. It was Setomaru's birthday!!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY, SETO KOJI~
I went to Cubao (again) so that I could check on prices at Shopwise. Kin-chan and Ochibi thankfully helped me, it got the job done faster and we were able to hang out a little. Timezone fun! And I guess that's how we celebrated Seto's day?

Recently I've felt like, since we live in different cities but can see each other pretty easily, and because we love TeniPuri so much, part of me was thinking the silly thought that it was like we were living in different prefectures in the same region. and our constant hangouts and blogging are really starting to become more and more like Tenimyu actor blog posts.

I swear, we can be delusional. (笑) or maybe it's just me...

on a random note, I'm glad finals may be over today. My classmates and I will most probably have a shoot today for our final project, and then this Saturday, I mighthave to help choerograph a dance for the kids in the Japanese club. Since when did I become a choreographer?! (笑)

That's all for now though. I must cram!! (笑)

My chibis and Okonomiyaki ♪

Today, I had to go to supermarkets and check stuff (aka i wasn't required to go to the office), but also decided to hang around with Ochibi and Kin-chan since they live in the area anyway. (笑)
We had lunch in Ali Mall and moved over to Gateway so that I could go to Timezone. Ochibi gave me her Timezone card (because she wasn't really a Timezone player and had no use for it, plus it was just given to her) so that I could play. Hahaha. I really should come there more, it can be a bit of a workout and it's fun too.

I managed to arrive at class on time despite my leaving Gateway rather late (as in thirty minutes before class time), but I was unbelievably tired and unfocused. I'm not sure what was wrong with me at the time.

When I got home though, I experimented in the kitchen and made okonomiyaki. It turned out quite successfully--I just need more ingredients to experiment with, but it's all good. (笑) Another way to force me to eat vegetables. Maah, I'm a little worried for my work tomorrow and my presentation for class. I'm not quite done with things. When did I become such a crammer? たるんどる!

Saturday Trippings

I went to visit Ochibi and Kin-chan todaaaay~ I brought them some pepperoni from home. Hee hee~ ♪

As usual, we fangirled over Tenimyu and teased Ochibi about Zukki.

Pausing a video when Zukki is onscreen makes her react really wildly. (笑)

me: *pauses video*
Kin-chan: ????
Ochibi: WAAAAAAAH!!! *hits me*
me: Ow! (>o<)
Ochibi: You're so MEEEAN!
Kin-chan: *plays video and pauses again on Zukki* Oh LOOK it's ZUKKI! 8D
Ochibi: EEEEEEEH!!! YOU'RE BULLYING MEEE!

I played the piano at their place again. Ever since my own piano was taken away (temporarily, they said) I've been missing it, since I do still like to learn things by ear. And speaking of that, I was able to play Nakagauchi Masataka's song "Sing Away" on the piano. Well, i got most of the basic notes, which means I can also play it on the violin. (笑)

It's all good since Sing Away has a violin solo version. ♪

We really had fun that day, even though we were all too lazy to move because of the intense heat. I swear, these days it's been ridiculously hot, I don't know what to do anymore. Muh~

Mother's day tomorrow! I'm worried~ What can I do (>_<)

IRON MAN 2 !!

Haha, I just came home from watching Iron Man 2 with friends. The movie was great, even though I hadn't watched the first movie at all. I was pretty much able to follow it.
Oh, and a tip for those who are about to watch it: Stay till after the credits!! There is an extra scene, and it caused a lot of excitement among the audience.

So, with that, I'd like to say...

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, OCHIBI!!!!!

I will do my best to bring you "Ore-sama" when I come over sometime. (^_^) Or something. (>_<) Hahaha! Hope you had a good day~

My "junjou baby loves". XD

Monday was quite an entertaining day, too. (笑)

I had gone to ADMU to meet with Justin, intending to figure out what to do with the shrine that we had built for the KiraKira☆Matsuri. Since the Japanese Studies Department could not take it (they had no more space), we will have to dispose of it during the clean-up week set for orgs, to clear their org rooms of junk. Looks like that will be my duty for next week.

Well, since we had that cleared up, I went to meet Ochibi and Kin-chan, who'd gone to Cello's. As usual, when all three of us are around, Kin-chan gets herself into trouble with me, i pretend to ignore her, and in the end forgive her anyway. (笑)

Nikki also passed by all of a sudden. (笑) I hadn't expected to see her today, and it was a nice surprise. (^^) We also managed to contact EA--I was to face him in a Pokemon battle!!

Well, admittedly, he had the upper hand because I don't have enough battle experience. (笑) However, I did have my crowning moments of awesome!! Even if I only won once out of three different battles. ...And all this happened while Nikki tried to "rape-tickle" both of us. (>o<)

Still!!

I have discovered my hidden potential as a Pokemon trainer!! (笑)

My hidden skill will be a secret for now though. (笑) Fssshu! (笑)

I will conduct my research and face EA once more in battle!! And next time I will emerge victorious!! (笑)

Congratulations!!

Last night, my family and I went to Ochibi and Kin-chan's graduation dinner. Kin-chan just graduated from High School, and Ochibi from Miriam College, Bachelor of Science in Psychology.

I'm so proud of both of them. (>_<) That night we fangirled as usual about Tenimyu and its boys. (笑) They had to re-enact several scenes from movies and shows I hadn't seen yet, and it was hilarious. (笑)

I actually scrambled around for gifts for them. (笑) and like the sap that I am, gave them both little speeches before giving it to them. It's a special day for both of them, and both deserve special gifts.

I'm very sure I will still be seeing a lot of Kin-chan, since she will still be studying near me, and I will be sure to help her. I honestly want to watch and help her grow. (>_<)

Ochibi, I'm afraid, I may see less often of. But as long as one of them is there, the other will follow. So, I hope to stay in connection!!

CONGRATULATIONS, OCHIBI AND KIN-CHAN!!!

The both of you will always be my chibis. (^o^)/

RECESS!!

Last night was our last event for our Events Management class. "RECESS!!" was supposed to be a party themed around "reliving the best of high school". Not that I personally wanted to...my high school had a lot of drama.(笑) And Ochibi came to the event! She really helped out. (^o^)/ and she was going to sleep over at my house later that evening.

Erm...this is just me being brutally, painfully honest...but I *did* expect the bands to play songs that were popular in our high school days. I didn't hear any, except for the acoustic performances where Raizza and Nika sang, and Didi too...(>_<)
Although I admit the bands were quite talented (props to Skinny Jeans Kaboom and Death&Strawberry), I wish they had kept the self-promotion of their original songs to a minimum...though I suppose it's only fair. Still, I wanted to hear old high school hits.

In any case, after the bands had finished performing, the floor was open for dancing~

Not that many people danced. (>_<) But Sir Sev danced around with us! Ochibi was the source of our energy, really.(笑)We need to dance more often!

On a random note, it took a while before the name Death&Strawberry clicked in my head. It turns out that several of the band members were into BLEACH! Their band's name was actually taken from the first chapter of the manga.(笑) I was like, "It all makes sense now!!"

In any case, it was still a fun night. I never thought that dancing around like that (even if i wasn't that good) could be so much fun.

Ochibi and I came home and freshened up, brushing our teeth before going to bed. We felt like Aiba.(笑)
It really was very tiring! I'm not particularly sure what happened between the end of the party and us going to sleep at 4am. I remember nearly falling asleep with my glasses on, and Ochibi's cellphone alarm going off at around 5am.

We fangirled for a while earlier this afternoon. It really was a weekend well-spent. Till next time, Ochibi!!

"Ore wa Artist~" (笑)

It was the first day for our KiraKira☆Matsuri~
Things were mostly disastrous in many senses, but. We tried our best to have fun...
I felt sad though, because we learned that we could not get the venue for Friday's culminating event! We had to break the news to EA and his band today. It was more than a little embarrassing considering they'd been practicing that week...
However, since they couldn't cancel their reservation at the studio that afternoon, it turned into more of a little party in the studio. Of course, I went and sang along with them, for their last practice...

It was really fun~ ♪ Haha. I know I don't exactly have a really good voice, but singing songs and generally feeling like a rock star was more than enough for me.

On a brighter side, I got to wear my costume! And Ochibi came over to visit. She took this photo of me:

Yes, I look silly. (笑)

It was a fun day overall, even if things didn't go as perfectly as we'd planned.

Shrine Madness!

Today, we managed to make a shrine for the KiraKira☆Matsuri! (笑)

It was really challenging! I sent a text message to various volunteers early that morning, only Jem and Kae were available to help. Others had prior commitments, others just didn't respond. (T_T)

Ochibi came over for our usual Saturday afternoon hangout, but I pretty much shanghaied her into working with us. It was still a pretty crazy time.

We had fun though, even though it was hard work on all of us to make the shrine. We had to constantly consult a small drawing and figure out just how the architecture came together.
While working, we listened to Tenimyu and other various songs. It did keep our spirits up for most of the work. (笑) We also watched The Princess Bride, for randomness.

We really did have a good time. It was just quite tiring though! The people who couldn't make it missed a lot of laughs. (笑)

So far, this is what we'd accomplished:

I'm giving it a paint job tomorrow and adding more details!

頑張ります!(笑)
