Holy Week has concluded!

Happy Easter, everyone!!! (笑)

The last couple of days have been filled with lots of food!! (笑)

Vegetable pizza (>_<) And delicious Easter lunch~

On a random note, my return to the internet was less than pleasant.
As most of you may not have known, I got an F in Theology, aka Fr Dacanay's class. So, obviously, I'm risking getting some privileges taken away from me; one of those privileges being free use of my laptop.
I don't know exactly how to negotiate my way out of it; either way, I give up something distinctly important to me. My mother is actually implying that I give up my social life, i.e. I don't go out anymore, I go straight home and study all the way till I graduate. Which, of course, is a very unfair thing. (>_<)

I can probably try my best to get out of it by officially adopting a study habit of studying for two hours every time I get home. And maybe keeping my room clean and organized.

I hope things will be fine. (T_T)

While Theology Oral Exams didn't go as well as I wanted them to (Fr. Dacanay was very intimidating), Philosophy Oral Exams were AWESOME!!! Dr. Garcia seemed quite pleased with what I had to say during the exam, and he even said "very good" when I finished. (^^)

And at long last, the school year has finally come to an end. (>_<)

My heart is heavy, and yet, light at the same time.

Please pray that I actually succeed in getting a good internship this summer!! I've been quite worried about it, to be frank. (^^;) And also, for some reason, I am still helping the Japanese club in ANI this summer! I hope I do well in both endeavors.

chocolate + depression = doesn't work.

I have been feeling a little down today...

It's a strange feeling to feel fear and depression literally pouring in from all sides, like a flood. (>_<)

I ate half a box of chocolate, but no effect (>_<) Where are the endorphins?!

...On a random note, Masa took a photo of himself and his newly trimmed hair, i think. He hadn't shaved his face yet, haha. Masa with a moustache is amusing. That brightened up my day somewhat. (^^)

Ooh, I asked my friend to send over the thesis statements I needed for oral exams with Fr. Dacanay.

She took the liberty of adding one last thesis statement to the list:

14. Father Dacanay contributes to his students’ mature understanding of marriage and human sexuality by not only explaining said topics through sacred scripture and the proclamations of the Magisterium, but also through other disciplines. Hence, he is the awesome. XD

SO TRUE. (笑)

Now to add to that mature understanding by studying.

Close to an end...

Last Tuesday, we had our very last Philosophy class. (>o<)
I had a photo taken with my teacher--I might forget to take one after my final exam, or I might not see him anymore! So there. (笑) Dr. Leovino Garcia, Ace Philosopher.

I'm very proud to have been his student.

I am afraid of taking a photo with Fr. Dacanay. (笑) Particularly if I flub my final exam. (>_<) But who knows? Maybe I will be lucky.

I also went out with Kae that Tuesday. (笑) We went to Timezone in Gateway, played Guitarfreaks/Percussionfreaks, and Dance Dance Revolution. It was quite a workout, actually!

We also hogged a karaoke booth. (笑) We finally found the number codes for Japanese songs! The book which contained the number codes didn't include Japanese songs, but we basically went through nearly 300 combinations looking for titles we knew. (笑)

We found 1/3 no Junjou na Kanjou!! (^o^)/ among other songs.

We had to stop after a while though. Next time, we will look for more!!

Today though, I had to start studying for my Philosophy and Theology exams, which will take place next week.

There was a used book sale on campus though--I actually found a nice hardbound book by Agatha Christie; 5 complete novels featuring Poirot! I had to get it. (笑)

I still realize though, that there are too many unread books that are lying around the house. I gathered them all together; maybe I can find the used book shop and sell them there. I gathered 26 books! (笑)

I hope to sell them soon. (>_<)

Also--there will apparently be a raindance tomorrow, organized by this crazy guy we know. (笑) I hope to see it!!!

Th131 and Preparations

We had our Theology 131 long exam today...I took the written exam instead of the orals because I wanted to compare for myself how much more difficult either exam was. (>_<)
I think in the end, I prefer oral exams.(笑) Even if Fr. Dacanay is intimidating.
It was held from 6:00-8:00 in the evening, so naturally i came home rather late. (笑) And my mom wasn't able to receive my text right away so i got fetched almost an hour after it had finished. (笑)

We also tried to set up the things for our event tomorrow, "RECESS!" Before my exam, I was up on our venue, Burgundy Place Penthouse.
My only issue about it was the smell of the staircase--there was a garbage disposal there. Whew!
Well, Aimee and I went out to KFC to get some food and we tried out KFC's new product, Chewy Cheese!

It was pretty good.(笑)I think I will try to get some again next week!

Hazelnut spread! ♪

400 grams of sweet hazelnut and chocolaty goodness~ ♪
I've never been able to buy the big container before! (笑) I normally get the smaller ones, but none were available at the grocery today. (笑)

Looking back, today was rather interesting. Waking up to a clear blue sky outside your window normally makes me feel slightly lighter about the day. Actually, seeing the sky outside my window in just one solid color, whether white or blue, feels like a good omen. (笑)

On an amusing note, I ran into Fr. Dacanay outside our classroom before he entered--and he was wearing shades! It was a nice start to the day, haha. (笑)

We had to rush quite an amount of work for our research paper outline though, and that kind of stressed me out. In addition, preparations for our KiraKira☆Matsuri are still ongoing, and we are still unprepared!!

Aaaaaaa~ This is such a rush!

I hope we can accomplish this! I would hate to move the Matsuri again, even if it DOES give us more preparation time! I feel like I didn't fulfill a promise I made to the members. (>_<) It's a very unsettling feeling, to promise something and not be able to accomplish it. But I need help, too! (>o<)

In any case...

I just got home from a very long day!

And honestly I don't know if I have the time to tell the whole story today.

Today was a very busy day~

And it was so cold, too!

Was basically running around all day attending meetings and basically just rushing about. (>.<)

Tomorrow is our cupcake event at MyPlace! Aaaaaaaa~!!

Everything is so rushed! (>_<)

And I haven't prepared all my things yet!! (^^;)

I think I will need a good rest after this...

Also, I have an oral exam with the dreaded Fr. Dacanay on Monday. After our event, I will use the weekend to study (>_<)

I will do my best!! ♪

I'm really sleepy now, though, I think i will go and rest, and do all the important work in the morning. (^^)

The other day, We finally made it to Shangrila, where our friend Maita has kind of been pressuring us to go, and here was why--they'd just opened up a new CEREALICIOUS cafe!! Its all colorful and right next to the carousel, you can't really miss it...plus it's right next to California Pizza Kitchen. (^^)

The place is awesome, honestly. I'd actually recommend some of their sweet stuff for dessert (^^) Their different combinations of cereal are named after popular movies, a theme i really liked. My favorite is their "Pirates of the Cadbury-ean" bowl, which has Koko Crunch Duo, Cadbury zip, and Oreo cookies. I am in heaven.

Yesterday, however, was a day of chaos in the household--and this was the result. (>o<)

I slipped on a pillow and crashed my knee against a box corner, which basically carved out a huge chunk of my skin. (>_<) It bled like mad. Thankfully it stopped bleeding after a couple of hours--i can only hope that it clotted properly. :/

On a random note, i tried to make a little Christmas tree on the Bulletin Board in front of the Theology Department. this was a couple of days before vacation started.

Evil!Martin says I should have left a note on it that read, "To Father Dacanay". LOL.

Anyway, this afternoon I have a party with my "Seigaku" group. I can't wait to see them again!!

So, here I am, leeching wi-fi off Ateneo again, and sitting in the Japanese Department (^_^)v

Wearing the hat because it was hot today and I didn't have a hair tie to use. Boo. Still though, today was a fun day, even if it was the first day of classes.

Today, my only class was with my current slightly nightmare teacher, Fr. Dacanay. He teaches Theology 131, and like i said earlier, is rumored to be the best teacher for the subject. However, he is quite a terror when it comes to teaching, and is very very strict. He gave us a layout of rules in his class, some of which i will probably discuss if i ever find them necessary. (>o<)

Suffice it to say, it's going to be difficult to please him.

A couple of friends and I went off to Katipunan this afternoon to play a little Rockband. Gelo and Karen got all excited about Beatles Rockband, and so we tried it out. My only concern, of course, was improving my skills at the guitar.

Sadly though, I'm not used to these songs--I barely listen to the Beatles, and plus, i already have a slightly difficult time with regular rock songs in Rockband.

in addition, I really prefer Guitarfreaks for some odd reason. I guess it's because i really prefer Japanese songs? (/shrug)

Currently freaking out at the moment because after Kae took a look at one of Nakagauchi Masataka's music videos, she gave me a strange look--

Mostly because when Masa sang in the video, he held the mic a certain way, and even played with the mic stand a lot.

...Which is exactly what I did last time i gave a karaoke performance. from the way the mic was held down to playing with the mic stand.(/SWEAT)

And I'd never seen the video before the karaoke day.

I'm totally going to die now. (>o<)

I guess there *is* a benefit to waking up early--I actually get to make a bento for myself, and avoid spending--I hope. (>_>)

I think the house is running out of seaweed though. And Japanese vinegar. (>o<) Will i have to buy some soon? (;o;)

Also, we cooked way too much rice for a party recently, so i used old rice, not freshly cooked rice, which made these rice balls a little dry. (>_<) Don't mind, don't mind !! (/fails at life) At least I have lunch, no?

I'm a little nervous about entering Fr. Dacanay's class--he's my theology teacher this sem/ I know he's rumored to be the best, but he's epically strict and rather scary. Nonetheless, I think i can do it.
